Making Christ Known, Sharing God’s Love

We are a thriving body of believers dedicated to sharing Christ and God’s love with our community and the world. Through all of the changes in the world, we continue to worship and praise the God who never changes and study His Word, the Bible.

Our services are in person as well as broadcast online via Facebook. You do not have to have Facebook to worship with us online. You may click on the “Follow Us on Facebook” button from the menu at the top of this page. It will take you directly to Facebook and you may watch from there.

We are an active group with a new building and updated landscaping. Please join us and see how God is working in Shellman Bluff.

How to become a Christian

  • The Bible says,” For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 Everyone needs to recognize their own failures.

  • The Bible also says, “But God demonstrated His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 You do not and cannot fix your mistakes yourself. God alone provided a way through His son Jesus.

  • You must deal with your mistakes because the Bible says, “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23 There is a day when payment is due. God has provided the payment, but you must accept it yourself.

  • You cannot work or be good enough because the Bible says, “And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise, grace is no longer grace.” Romans 11:6 Only God has the solution through His son Jesus.

  • The good news is that,” Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13 You receive the gift through calling on the Lord through prayer. You can pray something like this: Dear Lord, I know that I’m a sinner. I have disobeyed and done things wrong. I am sorry for my sin and ask you to take it away through your son Jesus Christ. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Help me Lord, to follow and live for Him every day. Amen.

  • If you pray and ask for God’s forgiveness, you will receive it because the Bible says, “To him who … believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness.” Romans 4:5
