We believe that as iron sharpens iron, learning together and studying God’s word is a fundamental part of Christian growth. Recognizing the diverse spiritual life of our congregation, we have Sunday School classes for Adults and Children of all ages.

Children & Youth Ministries
Our “His Kids” ministry is about transforming the hearts, minds, and lives of children and youth by sharing the Gospel, teaching the Bible, and demonstrating the love of Christ through special events, group Bible Studies, Kid’s Choir, various outreach ministries, VBS, and more!
Kids Choir is held on Wednesdays at 6 pm in the Children’s Church Room at the same time as Adult Bible Study. This allows parents to participate in Bible Study while the kids learn to sing and play instruments. Mrs. Tina is currently teaching our little rockstars to play the recorder.
VBS (Vacation Bible School) is SBBC’s biggest outreach event of the year and everyone from age 3-85+ gets involved. This year we are celebrating 100 years of outreach to children through VBS! Go to our VBS page to find the link to register.

Several of our school ag children will be attending CentriKid Camp July 8-12 at Brewton-Parker College this summer.
Women’s Ministries
Our WMU meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 11 AM to support several outreach ministries in our community including:
Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes
The Savannah Baptist Center
Knitted Hats for Ronald McDonald House, Memorial Children’s Hospital, Wolfson Children’s Hospital, The Lewis Cancer Center
Prayer blankets for members and non-members who are sick or hospitalized.
Throughout the year our ladies and ladies in our community meet at 2 PM on Tuesdays in the WMU Room off of the main building for Bible Study.

Men’s Ministries
Our Men’s Brotherhood gathers every Monday at 8:30 am for a Men’s Prayer Breakfast as well as on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM for a time of fellowship, food, and Bible Study with each other and other men in the community.
The Men’s Ministry also hosts dinners throughout the year for all members of the church and provides meals to shut-ins within our community.
State, National, and International Ministries
We also support the following Ministries:
LOTTIE MOON CHRISTMAS OFFERING FOR INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS - 2023 donations totaled over $3,520.
ANNIE ARMSTRONG EASTER OFFERING FOR NORTH AMERICAN MISSIONS - 2023 donations totaled over $5,000.
CHRISTMAS BACKPACKS through the Georgia Baptist Mission Board - purchased and filled 24 backpacks for youth ages 11-17 with donations from our 2023 VBS totaling over $1,400.
